你们知道友谊的真谛是什么吗？谁是你最好的挚友？你们认识多长时间啦？你为什么喜欢他/她呢？他们有什么非同寻常的地方吸引着你？来跟我们一起分享你们之间的趣事吧。让我们一起炖一锅友谊鸡汤，让我们彼此相亲相爱吧！

Today, Mr. Werner leads the first APS Student Assembly. First, he shows some vlogs that the Grade 5 students made about the summer holidays. Next, Mr. Werner shows the students an interesting video that is talking about what friendship is. Then, Mr. Werner invites some students to come to the stage to introduce their best friends. At last, the whole APS sings a Chinese friendship song together.

今天，Werner老师组织国际部第一次全体学生大会。大会的主题就是什么是友谊。首先，展示部分学生的优秀暑假作业，接下来播放一个很有趣的视频，讲述如何烹饪一锅友谊鸡汤。Werner老师现场邀请几位同学上台介绍了自己最好的朋友，他们如何相识，如何快乐地生活。最后以全体学生共同演唱一首中国歌曲《朋友》而谢幕。

In other words, friendship is wonderful. That’s not to say friendship is easy, though. It demands time and effort, and it requires that people put someone other than themselves. But in exchange for that work, a friend can provide an immense amount of support and comfort in good times and in bad. Let’s cheer for the Friendship Soup!

换言之，友谊是美好的。但这并不是说保持良好的友谊很容易。它需要时间和努力，需要人们把友人放在自己前面。但作为情感的交换，朋友可以在顺境和逆境中提供大量的支持和安慰。让我们一起品尝我们的友谊鸡汤吧！

亲爱的朋友们，我们一起期待国际部下一次的学生大会吧！我们不见不散！
